Foundation Grant Description

The Detroit Kiwanis No. 1 club provides approximately $40,000 to $50,000 per year for external projects that we feel meet and serve the needs of children and youth in the Detroit metropolitan area. Any interested party is welcome to apply for these funds but there is an application process that has recently been revised. 

Please click here for an application form and brief narrative that outlines the format for proposals. Forward your completed application to the address noted below via mail, fax or e-mail.  Please allow at least 6 weeks for a decision.  Our Club Board will take up your proposal at the first available meeting after we have received your request.  Recommendations are then forwarded to our Foundation Board and you will be notified of the outcome of our decision shortly thereafter.
